Since 2008, 85% of girls have been are vaccinated with a vaccine that can prevent up to 70% of cervical cancers, but about boys? HPV causes other kinds of cancers, including Head and Neck cancer and over the past 15 years the number of head and neck cancers have trebled in Wales. So would vaccinating boys be effective in reducing this number?
